pool time fun

Kids took swimming lessons this summer and I found that I have a bunch of fish :) They loved it and are excited that where we are moving we can have swim lessons year round.

Pig tails two

 It's funny that the last post I did was about Eden's first full pig tails and here she is again with pig tails.

 Oh and the spray bottle I use to wet her hair. She loves to spray it and most the time tries to steal it when I'm done.

 Of course then a chase in sues and here I have her cornered :)

 I love my Daughters hair. It's been so fun to have a girl fun curly beautiful locks. I thank her Daddy for that.

full pony tails

 In January I was able to put almost all of Eden hair up in pony tails for the first time. She looks so adorable.

 Such a cute little mischief maker. She's learned to say cheese, but whether she looks at the camera or not is another story.

Banana Cream Pie

 So I asked Donovan if we could get a good picture of us for his birthday...well day after birthday and eventually we ended up with the above picture, but true to nature it didn't come until after Donovan got his goofy's out.

white (day after) Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white day after Christmas, just like the ones I've rarely known...

 Since living in the midwest.

 Eden's first real experience with snow. She liked it for the first half hour, but then it got cold and she was ready to come in. It was the same the next day, but by the third day she didn't even want to go out and play in it. I guess she's a warm weather girl like her Mama.

 Trey on the other had would play for hours upon hours outside. He would only come in to dry out his gloves and change into dry socks and then he'd be off again. Funny coming from a kid who is cold all the time and has to have three blankets on his bed at night.

The snow lasted about two weeks and then was gone. Which was plenty long for me. It was nice though having a little snow this year.

Christmas Eve Pajamas

We have a tradition that we adopted from my sister. Every Christmas Eve our children get to open one present. And every Christmas Eve it's the same thing...Pajamas!

I think they liked them. Of course maybe they were just overly excited about getting to see lights, or singing Christmas carols...Or of course there is that whole Santa, presents, Christmas in the morning thing. :)
